CSA - Community Supported Agriculture
Some may say we are doing it the hard way, but at Sequoia Hills Farm we believe in sustainable organic farming practices and have adopted a no-till garden. This means we use a process of seasonal bed rotation, compost to amend the soil, and natural pest & weed control methods to produce our crops. By adopting these methods we are maintaining the healthy micro-organisms in our soil and allowing them to thrive. This allows us to provide organic fruits and vegetables to our members on a seasonal bases.
HOW IT WORKS - Memberships run from July-October and include a bi-monthly box filled with seasonal organic produce, organic pasture raised chicken eggs, and artisan homemade wood-fired breads.
THE DETAILS - You will receive an email Monday mornings with what will be available in that week’s CSA box. Any requests for a substitute can be made through Wednesday and will be accommodated to the best of our abilities. Pick-up’s will be available on Saturday between 1-4pm.
If members need their CSA box delivered, deliveries will be completed on Sunday and must be coordinated before Friday morning.
